We've sold cars to people in a wide range of locations recently - Somerset, Edinburgh, Galloway, Lincoln to name a few, but our new record long-distance sale now belongs to Kathy on the Isle of Harris. (Previous record was the Isle of Skye).With it's incredible beaches and rugged mountains, Harris is a wonderful place that's normally reached from Ullapool or Uig by ferry. I wasn't going to let the chance of delivering a car to one of my favourite locations slip by, so I drove the Rav 4 to it's new home and enjoyed a few days of Hebridean scenery with the bonus of watching close-up a superbly executed training exercise by the Coastguard helicopter, simulating an evacuation from the ferry.
