Take a look at this little beauty!
Renowned for it's sublime handling, superb, communicative steering, and lightning-fast responses, the III S is said to offer an unmatched, raw driving experience that comes to the fore on twisty roads. Who am I to argue with that!
It's a lightweight, purist sports car delivering an exceptional power-to-weight ratio.
It's a premium driver's car that perfectly balances, power, weight, and chassis, offering what might be best described as an analog experience ion a digital age.
It's widely considered one of the best road-going Lotus models, delivering immense thrills for the money, and featuring a 1.8-litre Rover K-Series VVC engine (approx 158bhp)
Performance wise, the 0-60 time is just over 5 seconds with superb acceleration continuing through to and past 100 mph.
But this is only part of the story as the light weight and wonderfully balanced steering, handling and braking enable drivers to make the most of the power.
There's not much storage space, it wouldn't be so easy getting in and out of it if you're very tall and it certainly doesn't mollycoddle you with luxurious seats and tech, but that's not the point of the car.
This example is in very good condition, with lots of service history and it's done 54k miles.
There's a fabulous set of alloys too with good tyres, and the car comes with a hard top and a soft top - not the easiest to use but doesn't take much to get used to it.
All in all a brilliant little sports car with timeless good looks.
